Dai Bi pagoda stele is recognized as the National treasure

On Jan. 18, 2024, the Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed the Decision ref 73/QĐ-TTg on recognition of 29 national treasures (phase 12 of year 2023), in which there is the stele named "Dai Bi Dien Minh tu bi", now preserved at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Lac Dao commune (Van Lam district)....

Dai Bi Dien Minh tu bi" stele is preserved at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Lac Dao commune

"Dai Bi Dien Minh tu bi" stele (also called Dai Bi pagoda stele) is sculptured in Tran dynasty (year 1327) under Tran Minh Tong King dynasty. This is the ancient and precious stele preserved up till now in the province. The stele was made of the monolithic green stone in flat rectangular black shape with the dimensions of 50 cms in width, 100 cms in height and 11 cms in thickness. The stele has 2 sides (the front and the back) includes components, namely, the curve block on top sculptured phoenixes and dragons, and the bottom curved phoenixes and dragons creating the circles.

Thus, up till now, Hung Yen province has 8 treasures and groups of treasures recognized as the national treasures.
