The program saw the attendance of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in Vietnam Vladimir Goshin; Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; members of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Standing Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front; leaders of departments, agencies, provincial unions, leaders of districts, town, city and the people and students in the city.

Speaking at the opening of the program, Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mr. Dang Ngoc Quynh emphasized:  Hung Yen Province and the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus organized the Hung Yen - Belarus Cultural Exchange Program on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the tradition of the Belarusian diplomacy and 27 years of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Belarus.  Hung Yen is the first province in Vietnam to receive investment project(s) from Belarus, it also expected to negotiate a comprehensive cooperation agreement with the Minks region of the Republic of Belarus.  At the same time, he hoped that through this event, the good traditional and friendship relationship between Vietnam and Belarus shall always maintain and cultivate by the people of the two countries, thereby reaping many achievements in cooperations.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in Vietnam Mr. Vladimir Goshin expressed his gratitude and thanked to the warm hospitality of Hung Yen province.  The ambassador emphasized:  The "Rovesnik" dance company is one of the leading companies of Belarus.  This program in Hung Yen is also the first performance of the "Rovesnik" dance company’s tour plan in Vietnam.  The message of Belarusian artists performances is "Belarusian Children for Vietnamese Children" ...

At the cultural exchange program, the audience also enjoyed many special cultural performances with characteristics of Hung Yen such as:  The traditional operetta "The love song”, the folk dance "The countryside painting", some repertoire of ca trù (an original art performance of academic character), drum chorus ... Belarusian music and dance company "Rovesnik" performed the dance "Cheers", the song "Belaia Lastauka", the national dance "Vyanochak", the exciting dance "Gusachok" ", Dancing with the shawl "Khustachka”, dancing of the blacksmiths "Kavali"; Traditional folk musical instruments of Belarus - Tsimbals, exciting dance "After the rain", the joyful Polka dance "Veselukha" ...

The exchange program contributes to improving knowledge of Belarusian culture and Vietnamese culture in general and Hung Yen culture in particular.  At the same time, it is an opportunity to propagate and promote the image of Hung Yen's land and people with international friends.
