Despite his advanced age and difficulty walking, he was still lucid when asked about his time participating in revolutionary activities in the past, Dong Tu proudly shared: In the historic August days, all districts and towns in the province were in a state of extreme urgency; rallies, demonstrations, armed marches were widely organized, attracting thousands and tens of thousands of people to participate. At that time, everywhere in the villages and alleys, the sound of horns, footsteps, gongs, drums, etc... Very exciting, very passionate about revolution. Everyone wants to gain power, regain land. From the cadres to the people, they all stood up with one heart and one heart to revolt. Although the uprising order had not yet reached the province, the Viet Minh together with the local people boiled up the spirit of rebellion to attack the districts of Duong. In just 4 days, from August 14 to 18, 1945, the enemy government was continuously attacked by the Viet Minh in the districts: Phu Cu, Khoai Chau, My Hao, An Thi, Tien Lu, Van Giang...
