At the meeting, Mr. Takashi Yanai, Member of the Board of Directors of Sumitomo Corporation, thanked the provincial leaders and provincial authorities for always paying attention to leading, directing, and creating favorable conditions for Thang Long Industrial Park. Long II has been operating effectively in recent times and continues to receive investment and expansion. Mr. Takashi Yanai briefly reported to the provincial leaders some of the group's performance results in recent times; plans, orientations, and goals for implementation in the near future. At the same time, we hope that Hung Yen province will create conditions for Thang Long II Industrial Park to develop with a scale of 391.7 hectares in phase 4; Pay attention to investing in electricity industry infrastructure to meet the production needs of factories in Thang Long Industrial Park II.

 

At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia acknowledged the contributions of Thang Long Industrial Park II Limited Liability Company to the development of the province in recent times. The province determines that the success of Thang Long II Industrial Park is a model that needs to be replicated in the process of developing other industrial parks and clusters in the province. During the operation of businesses in the area, provincial leaders always accept comments and timely grasp the operating situation of businesses to have optimal solutions. Regarding energy to serve industrial parks in general and Thang Long II Industrial Park in particular, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee stated that in recent times, the province has focused on investing in developing electricity sector infrastructure to ensure Synchronous, modern, meeting the current and future needs for electricity for daily life and production, especially the construction of a 110 kV transformer station system to serve production activities in industrial parks. Regarding the expansion of Thang Long II Industrial Park in the near future, the province agreed and created favorable conditions for the group to expand its scale according to its capacity, in accordance with Hung Yen Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, Vision to 2050 has just been approved by the Government. Comrade Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested Sumitomo Corporation to accelerate the construction of technical infrastructure and increase the occupancy rate of Thang Long II Industrial Park phase 3 before implementing phase 4; During the process of receiving factories, it is necessary to consider building factory roof structures to develop solar energy while protecting the environment and meeting green energy standards of many markets around the world.
