Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia emphasized: The province has set the goal of developing into a centrally-governed city and a modern industrial province among the leading provinces nationwide. To achieve this goal, the province is implementing five pillars, including: The province is focusing on developing high technology; ecological agriculture; smart urban development; becoming a center for clean and renewable energy; developing the marine economy; and transforming the Thai Binh Economic Zone into a free economic zone. Simultaneously, the province is implementing three strategic breakthroughs: developing transportation infrastructure, marine economic infrastructure, and digital economic infrastructure; developing science, technology, and innovation; and training high-quality labor.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea in general, and between Hung Yen province and its Korean partners in particular, in culture and economics has been developing steadily over the years. Businesses from both countries have a foundation of trust to promote cooperation and mutual development. Over the past period, the province has created a favorable business environment and ecosystem, offering many incentives to foreign investors, including those from South Korea. The province hopes that South Korean investors will continue to show interest in investing in Hung Yen; organize cultural and sports exchanges; and continue to welcome South Korean businesses to explore investment opportunities in fields such as semiconductors, automobiles, trade development, and smart city construction.
