Appearance of Nghia Tru commune today

Talking to comrade Quan Ngoc Tuan, former Secretary of the Party of Nghia Tru commune in the period of 1975-1989, who has many opportunities to meet and work with Comrade Le Van Luong, we are told about the times Le Van Luong visited his hometown and compassion he gave to this place.

When visiting his hometown, Comrade Le Van Luong realized that people here had to travel very hard on a dangerous wooden bridge while Nghia Tru commune and Vinh Khuc commune is nearby National Road 5. He proposed the Government to build the concrete bridge to facilitate transportation. In 1981, when Nghia Tru commune completed the construction, connecting National Road 5 with the commune, Comrade Le Van Luong attended the opening ceremony.

On Jan. 11, 1984, when the Party cell and Nghia Tru people built the traditional house of the commune, Comrade Le Van Luong visited and attended the breaking ground ceremony. Also, he proposed the display content of the traditional house. Le Van Luong paid attention to the educational career through building To Hieu elementary school and middle school. In the 90s of the 20th century, the comrade visited the hometown and urged the local authorities to apply electrification into agriculture production. Thus, from March, 1991 to October 1993, the electrification system was completed. The electrification revitalized Nghia Tru hometown. Thanks to electricity, machine-based agriculture and handicraft thrived. Appearance of the country and people's life were improved.

Mr. Quan Ngoc Tuan said: "In the 80s of the previous century, Le Van Luong spent much time visiting his hometown. Then,I was the Secretary of Nghia Tru party committee and had chance to meet with him. As the comrade returned to the hometown, we can feel a style of a leader who was exemplary at work, simple in lifestyle, close to people and colleagues. Le Van Luong paid attention to the lifestyle, especially education, agricultural production and transportation. To the Party work building, the comrade said that people at all levels should build the Party which was pure, strong and boosted the solidarity so that leadersand people accomplished all tasks successfully.

Remembering the encouragement, reminder, and orientation of Le Van Luong and continuing his devotion to the country, the Party cell and people of Nghia Tru commune always well implemented the Party building and took care of socio-economic development.

In 2021, the average income of 1 hectare of cultivation land reached VND 350 million. Handicraft industry and service also developed. Now the commune has over 400 people doing business in the local market and nearby markets, over 1000 laborers working in joint ventures with the average income of VND 6 million per capita per month.

The average income per capita reaches VND 68 million per capita per month. The rural infrastructure is built synchronously and modernly. The movement of study promotion in villages and families develops dramatically. People's health care and social wealthfare is paid much attention; security and orders are ensured. The Party building is paid attention to. The commune Party has always well implemented the political and ideology education, improved the political theory and professional qualifications to officials and party members.

On the occasion of 110th anniversary of Le Van Luong's birthday, visiting the memorable house of Le Van Luong and studying the documents, images and typical artifacts of life and revolution career activities of an outstanding predecessor of the Party and Vietnamese revolution.
