Collectives and four enterprises cooperate in consumption of early-ripening hybrid lychee in Phu Cu district 2022

The conference attracted various enterprises, supermarkets, distributors inside and outside the province to sign the MOU on consumption of early-ripening hybrid lychee of Phu Cu district....

Signing the MOU on consumption of early-ripening hybrid lychee in Phu Cu district between enterprises and collectives

Now the total lychee area in Phu Cu district is 954,3hectares, in which 150 hectares are certified according to VietGAP process. There are 3 zones (Tam Da commune, Minh Tien commune, Phan Sao Nam commune) are certified as regions eligible for export (regions issued OTAS code) to Japan, Korea, Europe.

Early-ripening hybrid lychee in Phu Cu district, certified in 2016 by Intellectual property and ranked OCOP 4 stars by the Provincial People's Committee, ripens early, weighs from 25 to 30 fruits per kilo, and has sweet taste and aroma. The average output reaches from 8,500 to 9,500 tons per year.

Early-ripening lychees in Phu Cu district was supported with application of good manufacturing practices and certification of Vietgap standard to the large scale concentrated production zone and traceability stamps of origins to get quick and adequate information of the products.

In order to consume early-ripening lychees in Phu Cu district, lychee growers and collectives are supported to participate in trade promotion activities, connect demand and supply through the connection fairs and exhibitions of agricultural goods held in multiple provinces and cities. Products' information is updated on electronic trading platforms and web portals of the central and provincial departments.Few quantity of lychees was exported to Russia, China and Korea.

The conference is the chance to disseminate the early-ripening lychees of Phu Cu district, offer cooperation among enterprises, supermarkets, wholesale markets and distributors as well as consolidate and develop consumption of the early-ripening lychee.

At the conference, collectives and enterprises signed the MOU on cooperation of early-ripening lychee consumption.

Previously, delegates paid a visit to the production model of early-ripening lychee in Tam Da commune, Phu Cu district.
