At the working session, the representative of Sumitomo Corporation thanked the province for creating favorable conditions for Japanese businesses to operate in Thang Long Industrial Park II over the past time.Sumitomo Corporation is currently expanding Thang Long Industrial Park II (Phase 3) and has received active support from the province during the project implementation.So far, 6 Japanese enterprises have invested in the expanded area of phase 3 of Thang Long Industrial Park II with a total investment capital of about 500 million USD.The Corporation plans to invest in expanding Phase 4 after the completion of Phase 3.Sumitomo Corporation hopes that the province will continue to support the site clearance and the process of implementing the next steps to invest in the project construction.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van emphasized that over the past time, departments, branches and localities of the province have made efforts to implement solutions to speed up the clearance of the expanded area of Thang Long Industrial Park II, so far the project's site clearance has gained a lot of positive results.However, due to some objective reasons, there is still a part of the area that has not been cleared.The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Sumitomo Corporation to coordinate with the provincial departments and agencies to focus on site clearance for the remaining area of Phrase 3 of the expansion of Thang Long Industrial Park II.He also requested the Corporation to prepare a specific plan and implement necessary procedures for the expansion plan of Phase 4 of Thang Long Industrial Park II.The province always supports and creates favorable conditions for Sumitomo Corporation to operate in the province.During the investment process, Sumitomo Corporation cooperates with provincial departments and branches to handle arising problems as soon as possible.
