Therefore, although the initial investment cost is quite large, currently, small livestock households in the province are shifting to closed-scale, biosafe livestock farming. To date, the whole province has over 550 livestock farms applying high technology to production. The application of biosafety farming contributes to creating clean, safe products that are highly appreciated by the market.

Dong Tao chicken products in Dong Tao commune (Khái Chau) are considered to be of higher quality than many similar products raised in other localities. However, the products given as gifts are mainly commercial chickens. The products are not uniform and difficult to transport over long distances, making it difficult for customers in remote areas to reach them.
