Recognizing urbanization as a driving force in socio-economic development, the province has resolutely implemented urban development solutions from the beginning of its term. The province has issued numerous programs and plans to promote the development of civilized and modern urban areas. Specifically, these include: the Urban Development Program for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030; and the Plan for implementing the Provincial Urban Development Program until 2025... Simultaneously, the province will address bottlenecks in land clearance, improve the efficiency of using investment resources from both within and outside the budget, prioritize the allocation of capital to key projects and works, and create a ripple effect to promote trade and services. In addition, the province will direct relevant departments and localities to implement solutions to support investors in overcoming difficulties, create clean land funds to attract projects, support the early commencement of projects, build synchronous and interconnected infrastructure, increase the province's urbanization rate, and open up opportunities to exploit the potential and advantages of tourism, services, and urban development in the area.
The Department of Construction and other relevant agencies have advised the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to implement many solutions to ensure consistency and uniformity in the management of urban development in the province. Along with the implementation of investment and construction projects in accordance with regulations such as Ecopark, Vinhomes Ocean Park 2, V-GreenCity Pho Noi, Kien Giang urban area, Dong Hoa new urban area, recently, the province has commenced the Khoai Chau urban complex, eco-tourism and golf course project with a planned area of over 990 hectares and a total investment of approximately 1.5 billion USD. Commercial and social housing development projects are being actively implemented in suitable locations, meeting the needs of socio-economic development and the living needs of the people. Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Green i-Park Joint Stock Company, the investor of Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park infrastructure, said: The Provincial People's Committee has shown great determination in resolving difficulties, accompanying investors, and strongly promoting the development of social housing. The province has planned many locations for social housing development; including 16 independent land plots with large areas, ideal for implementing social housing projects specifically for workers and low-income earners. This presents a golden opportunity for investors with a long-term vision to participate early in this potentially lucrative market that is still experiencing a supply shortage.
