With the theme of the 48th International Letter-Writing Competition:  "Write a letter about your hero", Tung Chi and her friends were very eager and thinking about the letter ideas right from the time the school launched the competition.  In one meal with family, Chi watched the TV show about little girl Nguyen Hai An (7 years old) and her family (in Hanoi) decided to donate her cornea after her death.  That noble work of Hai An made Chi very touched and she decided to incarnate into Hai An's eyes to confide daily with her mistress on the other side of the world.

Only in 2 pages, but Tung Chi wrote on the pain, extraordinary effort and the strong desire of living of the little girl Hai An to fight against the disease.  The day she passed away was also when her cornea was donated to bring light to others.  Hai An's decision really inspires us strongly about kindness as well as sharing love.  Many people then volunteered to donate their organs, Hai An and they were like flowers adorned for our lives, like sparkling stars in the night so people could believe in miracles and love in their lives.

In addition to the Third Prize of the UPU International Letter Contest, Tung Chi also received many other awards in this school year such as the First Prize of the Hung Yen province 2019 contest "Ambassador of Reading Culture" ; Third prize of Hung Yen province's Technical Innovation 2nd Contest, 2018, etc.

Not only owning the "collection" of awards, Tung Chi is also a good, dynamic and exemplary monitor of class.  Sharing about the secret to good academic achievement, Tung Chi said:  “My good study secret is to spend time for self-learning and reading a lot of books myself.  For me, every time I read books, I feel like I am talking to wise minds and every book like taking me to new lands, opening up for me more knowledge ... ”.

Ms. Ngo Thi Thu Huong, homeroom teacher of class 7A, said about her little pupil:  "I am both the homeroom teacher and the Literature teacher of Tung Chi.  Tung Chi emanates confidence, bravery, good sense of learning, high collective morale, responsibility, sociability. She is loved by teachers and friends.  This is the second time Chi has participated in the International Letter-Writing Competition, she has learned how to apply the Literature knowledge to the test and express coherent thinking. Her writing style is emotional with smooth language and beautiful representation”.
