Delegates offering incense at Uncle Ho memorable house in Nghia Dan commune

At the ceremony, the delegates offered incense and flowers and planted memorial trees in President Ho Chi Minh memorable house at Tho Cau communal house which is the historical place imprinting the sentiments and instructions of President Ho Chi Minh 60 years ago.

The speech at the celebration stated that, on September 16, 1961, Uncle Ho attended the Northern Irrigation Conference in Hung Yen province, at the same time, visited and talked with officials and people of Nghia Dan commune. Following Uncle Ho's teachings, over the past 60 years, the Party Committee, authorities and people of Kim Dong district have always been united, dynamic and creative to promote patriotic emulation movements, contribute to the national liberation and reunification,construction and defense of the Socialist Vietnamese Fatherland. From a purely agricultural district, Kim Dong has developed comprehensively in all fields. The average annual economic growth rate reached 9.51%. The material and spiritual life of the people is constantly being improved. Party building work is paid special attention.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial party committee emphasized that Uncle Ho's visit to Nghia Dan commune on September 16, 1961 was an important event and great love that Uncle Ho gave to Nghia Dan commune in particular and Kim Dong district and Hung Yen province in general.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duy Hung congratulated and praised the achievements that the Party committee, the Government and people of Kim Dong district have achieved in the past 60 years. He noted that Kim Dong district should continue to boost effective implementation of Directive No. 05 of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam on promoting to learn and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in association with implementation of Central Resolution 4 (term 12) on promoting the Party building and adjustment, preventing and pushing back the depression in politics, morality, lifestyle and expressions of "self-evolution" and "self- transformation"; and that this district should integrate study of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style into action program attached with implementation of political tasks, patriot emulation movements, socio-economic targets, national defense, building of pure and healthy Party and political system. The district should take advantage of its strengths, mobilize resources to build synchronous social infrastructure; continue to improve the criteria of the new-style rural areas by appropriate solutions to continuously improvepeople's material and spiritual life; concentrate the leadership of the Party committees at all levels on administrative reform; well implement the democracy regulation and build an effective political and government systemat grassroots level. The district should build particular planning of renovating the historical site of Tho Cau communal house and submit it to authorities in order that this place will become a destination to pass on tradition, life, career and ideology of president Ho Chi Minh to young generations and to show great gratitude of the Party committee, the Government and people of Kim Dong district to beloved Uncle Ho.
