The whole province currently has over 1,800 relic sites and relic clusters, in which 168 are ranked at national level, and 226 are ranked at provincial level. Each temple, communal house and temple roof is a living museum with many valuable and rare artifacts in terms of architecture, history, culture and aesthetic. Tangible cultural heritages not only exists in relics and relic clusters but is also preserved at the Provincial Museum.

The Provincial Museum currently preserves over 16,000 artifacts with unique cultural values ​​associated with the historical length of Hung Yen's landscape and people. In order to promote the value of documents and exhibits and bring the values ​​of the heritage to the public, the Provincial Museum always pays attention to and renew the display. In addition to exhibition at the museum, the provincial museum often collaborates with districts, towns and cities in the province to organize mobile exhibits at cultural houses; at the same time, works closely with the school to send students to visit and experience at the Provincial Museum.

In recent years, preservation of tangible cultural heritage values in the province has been paid attention. The provincial People's Committee has directed and approved multiple important projects and documents as a legal basis for the implementation of tasks related to the development of the province's cultural cause, including conservation of tangible cultural heritages such as: Scheme on investment in restoration and prevention of degradation of provincial level and national level relics in Hung Yen province during the period of 2016-2020; Regulations on management of relics, antiques and national treasures in Hung Yen province; Issue a plan on inventory of relics in the province; digitize Han-Nom documents; make plans to excavate archaeological sites in Hung Yen city.

Accordingly, from 2016 to present, the whole province has renovated and embellished more than 200 national monuments, provincial monuments, relics and relic clusters. In 2019, the Provincial Museum has classified 4 thousand artifacts; making 7 thousand records, scientific item sheets of materials; register and number 800 artifacts; The provincial library collaborates with the related parties to digitize tens of thousands of pages of Han-Nom documents, of which mainly are  horizontal lacquered boards, parallel sentences in the province. At the same time, the Relic Management Board with specific operational regulations are established at each relic and relic cluster. They  have compiled leaflets to disseminate the unique artifacts preserved at the monument.

In addition, in order to preserve and promote the value of cultural heritage in a sustainable manner, every year, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism sector conducts a research plan to assess properly the status of relics and make a master plan for conservation of each relic, consistent with the socio-economic development of the localities. Mr. Dao Manh Huan, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said: “In order to promote the value of cultural heritages, create spillover effect in the community, the province has focused on management, repair, restoration, embellishment and prevention of degradation of monuments. Up to now, most of the relics have been restored and embellished in accordance with the technical design documents approved by competent authorities. Along with that, the province has issued many policies to connect cultural heritages with tourism development. Thereby, there have been various activities to promote and honor the value of the province's unique cultural heritages to domestic and international friends.
