According to the report at the conference, in the whole country, there have been currently 3,110 positive cases for SARS-CoV-2, of which 1,711 cases are domestic; 2,560 cases have been cured. Particularly, six outbreaks have been recorded outside the community since April 28, 146 cases in 16 provinces and cities. There are 61/63 provinces and cities deploying the vaccination against the Covid-19 with a total of more than 526,000 doses.

At the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, Head of the National Steering Committee for the Covid 19 prevention and control, assessed that the epidemic development in the country is becoming more and more complicated. In many places, there is a mentality of subjectivity, neglectfulness, low guard, not strictly implementing anti-epidemic measures according to regulations, especially monitoring the implementation of the 5K regulation, not wearing a mask in public places and gathering in crowded people; the compliance with the prevention and control measures against the Covid-19 epidemic by a part of the population is not good.

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh asked the whole political system from central to local to focus on the drastic performance; base on the epidemic situation to deploy the prevention and fighting against the epidemic in accordance with the reality. To strengthen measures to monitor, inspect, grasp the situation, be creative and flexible in the epidemic prevention and control. To clearly define the responsibility of the leader in the epidemic prevention and control. To prevent and strictly handle the cases of immigration and illegal residence; promote the role of people in monitoring. The Ministry of Health, by many active measures approaches and buys vaccines. The localities prepare scenarios for all situations, especially ensure the safety for the election to the 15^th National Assembly and the People's Councils at all levels. To focus on completing the tasks of the 2020-2021 school year as planned; strengthen communication quickly and accurately.

Directing after the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duy Hung, Standing Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for the Covid-19 prevention and control, requested localities to strictly comply with the contents in the Official Telegram No. 883. / CD-CTUBND dated May 6, 2021 on strengthening the epidemic prevention and control in the new situation. The Steering committees at all levels must develop plans for the epidemic prevention and control at localities, agencies and units; highlight roles and responsibilities in the epidemic prevention and control; continue to consolidate the steering committees at all levels, with specific assignments associated with individuals' responsibilities; localities need to firmly grasp the situation of the locality, population, and enterprises; Phu Cu district monitors, evaluates and identifies the focal scope of the epidemic, tries to narrow the scope of social gap; My Hao district speeds up the tracing progress of F1, F2, and F3 cases; testing all residents of Nguyen Xa civil group in Nhan Hoa village and making a plan to adjust the social gap; quickly reviewing the group of at-risk subjects from the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases and K Hospital; encouraging people to take the initiative in medical declaration; the concentrated isolation areas should make a plan to install surveillance cameras to monitor, avoid cross-contamination and infect in the community; the Department of Health develops safe process in hospitals and for medical staff.
