On June 21, Vietnam Women’s Union of Hung Yen province cooperated with My Hao district to organize the ceremony to receive the certificate of provincial level historical site for Memorial house of Hoang Ngan guerrilla force and martyr, Hero of People’s armed force Vu Thi Kinh (Tran Thi Khang) in Xuan Nhan village, Xuan Duc commune, My Hao district....

The ceremony witnessed the attendance of Prof. Tran Phuong, Former vice chairman of Council of Ministers; members of Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Mr. Do Tien Sy, Provincial party Secretary, Head of provincial delegation of National assembly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Chairman of Central Executive Committee of Vietnam Women 's Union; Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People’s Council; leaders of the People’s committee and Standing board of Vietnam Fatherland front of Hung Yen province.

Delegates cut the ribbons to inaugurate the Memorial house of Hoang Ngan guerrilla force and martyr, Hero of people’s armed force Vu Thi Kinh (Tran Thi Khang)

At the ceremony, delegates recalled the glorious history, contribution and sacrifice of Hoang Ngan guerrilla force and martyr, Hero of people’s armed force Vu Thi Kinh (Tran Thi Khang) in the struggle for independence and national defense.

In order to pay tribute and recall her contribution, thanks to the permission of Standing board of the People's Council and People’s committee of Hung Yen province, Vietnam Women 's Union is assigned to be the investor of Memorial house of Hoang Ngan guerrilla force and martyr, Hero of people’s armed force Vu Thi Kinh (Tran Thi Khang)

The building was built in November 2016 in Xuan Nhan village, Xuan Duc commune, My Hao district, which is the homeland of Vu Thi Kinh (Tran Thi Khang). The total investment is over VND 8 billion, in which VND 3 billion is dispersed from the state budget of the province and the remaining is financed from the contribution and donation of My Hao district and Phu Cu district, enterprises, organizations, benefactors and female members in the province.

The building was built on the ground of 1.122m2. This is the place to exhibit items, historical document of Hoang Ngan guerrilla force of Hung Yen province and also introduce life, career and revolution spirit of Vu Thi Kinh (Tran Thi Khang)

Due to its historical tradition, cultural values and contribution of female Hoang Ngan guerrilla force of Hung Yen province to the Vietnamese resistance to French colonialism as well as the supreme sacrifice of martyr, Hero of people’s armed force Vu Thi Kinh (Tran Thi Khang), on June 12, 2018, the People’s committee decided to give the provincial level recognition to Memorial house of Hoang Ngan guerrilla force and martyr, Hero of people’s armed force Vu Thi Kinh (Tran Thi Khang)

Speaking in the ceremony, Vice president of Hung Yen province, Nguyen Duy Hung acknowledged efforts and determination of Vietnam Women’s Union, Provincial military command and My Hao district in accomplishing the building on the occasion of 68^th anniversary of Vu Thi Kinh’s death.

Vice president of Hung Yen province requested: The department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Provincial military command, Vietnam Women 's Union, My Hao district and other related parties publicize the tradition and values of this memorial house; To strictly follow the regulations of cultural heritage law in management, protection and enhancement of the value of the historical site; To issue the rules and regulations for protection and preservation of the historical site in order to facilitate sight-seeing and research among people; to disseminate the tradition of “Heroism, determination, faithfulness, resourcefulness” and to build the provincial women image of  “Confidence,  self-esteem, faithfulness, resourcefulness” amid the acceleration period of industrialization and modernization of the country. The memorial house is the spiritual heritage which is in need of preservation and passed on from generations to generations in order to teach youngsters about the country tradition and encourage them to make contribution to building up a thriving province.

After the ceremony, delegates cut the inauguration ribbons, offered incenses to the memorial house and planted trees on the memorial house’s yard.
