The whole meeting

In the 4th pandemic wave, the province reported 300 cases (not included the entry), of which 15 cases in the public, 8 cases in the quarantine zones, 8 cases filtered in the medical centers and 259 cases in the concentrated quarantine facilities. From June 20 to present, the province recognized 64.7 million people related to Covid-19 pandemic, of which 2.2 thousand F1, over 17.7 thousand people F2, over 28.4 thousand F3 and 1.683 people returning from Ho Chi Minh city and Southern provinces, 12.360 people returning from Hanoi. There are over 6.7 thousand people are quarantined, almost at home or accommodation.

According to Decree ref 128/NQ-CP dated October 11, 2021 of the Government issuing the temporary regulations of "Safe and flexible adaption and effective control of Covid-19 pandemic" (Decree ref 128) and Decision ref 4800/QĐ-BYT dated October 12, 2021 of the Ministry of Health issuing the temporary guidance on the medical profession implementing the Resolution no.128 of the Government on October 15, 2021, Provincial People's Committee issued Plan no.157 which ranked the current disease level of the province at level 2 and mentioned appropriate solutions to the pandemic situation and socio-economic development.

However, there are still risks of Covid-19 pandemic outbreak in the province due to a number of people who are still neglect of 5K warning; limited application of information technology in protection and control of the pandemic; high risks of disease penetration from infected provinces especially from long distance drivers and assistant drivers; people returning from the pandemic regions but not reporting voluntarily; limited number of people getting vaccinated.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party committee Nguyen Huu Nghia emphasized: In the past time, the whole political system from the provincial level to the grassroot level, departments, enterprise network and people, especially health care,  military and police have been active to participate in and seriously and timely implemented solutions of prevention and control of Covid-19. Hung Yen province has accomplished sucessfuly the dual goals of of preventing the COVID-19 pandemic and promoting socio-economic development.

Secretary of Provincial Party committee requested that prevention and control of the pandemic needed to go with the dual goal of maximizing the protection of health and lives of people and minimizing the infection and deaths. It is necessary to reinforce the lead of the Party, mobilize strengths of the whole political system and solidarity; fiercely deploy safe and flexible adaption solutions based on rule 5K; ensure social welfare and pay attention to support Hung Yen people with difficulties in infected provinces.

Concluding at the meeting, Mr, Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party committee, Chairman of provincial People's committee, Head of Provincial board directed departments, branches and units in the province must seriously implement directions of the central departments and the province about the prevention and control of Covid-19 and not to be subjective and distracted. Departments, organizations and enterprises should prepare the options and scenarios for disease situations within their functions, tasks, responsibilities and areas in charge; tightly supervise the fluctuations on inhabitants in the locality, timely identify the at-risk objects and effectively apply the prevention and control solutions; prepare conditions in the quarantine facilities in order to respond to the pandemic in the region; review the plan of collection, care and treatment of covid-19 patients; speed up vaccination and dissemination to raise the awareness and responsibilities of people in prevention and control of covid-19 pandemic. Vietnam fatherland front committee of Hung Yen province should implement plans to assist people who have permanent addresses in the province and need support; police and health care staff organize the recipient of people returning from infected provinces.
