Following the directives of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Construction has coordinated with other departments and agencies to review, supplement, and rearrange housing areas and apartment complexes in Pho Hien ward to advise on converting them into official housing for officials and employees of the province after the merger. To date, the Department of Construction has reviewed and advised on 4 locations for temporary use as housing for officials and employees of the province after the merger, including: The student housing complex in Hung Yen city; the dormitory of Hung Yen Community College; the dormitory of Nguyen Van Linh Political School; and the Farmers' Support Center, with a total of 297 rooms, can accommodate approximately 856 officials, basically meeting the initial housing needs of officials, civil servants, and employees of the province after the merger.

Following on-site inspections at locations recommended by the Department of Construction for temporary housing for officials and civil servants after the provincial merger, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Le Huy requested that relevant units coordinate with the Department of Construction and the Department of Finance to urgently review and compile statistics on the current situation, and promptly implement repairs and upgrades to ensure the best possible initial living conditions for officials and civil servants in need of housing. The Provincial People's Committee Office, in coordination with relevant departments and agencies, will compile specific statistics on the number of officials and civil servants in need of housing and advise the Provincial People's Committee on a reasonable allocation plan.
